Gest. 1637 Een van de grote geleerden en beroemde schrijvers, oorspronkelijk uit Tire. Nadat hij zijn eerste kennis had opgedaan bij de geleerden van zijn geboorteplaats, voltooide hij zijn studie bij Muallim Ataullah Efendi en werd hij met vijfentwintig akçes aangesteld als madrasah-leraar (müderris) aan de Hacı Sinan Madrasah in Bayındır, waardoor zijn roem en deugd zich snel verspreidden.
