كان عالماً فاضلاً من طبقة العلماء الذين نشأوا في تيره، وهو ابن محمود أفندي التيروي. بعد أن أتم تعليمه في تيره، عمل كمدرس (مُدَرِّس) وتوفي عام 1690.
