D. 1637 One of the great scholars and famous writers, originally from Tire. After receiving his initial education from the scholars of his hometown, he completed his studies with Muallim Ataullah Efendi and was appointed as a madrasah teacher (müderris) at Hacı Sinan Madrasah in Bayındır with a salary of twenty-five akçes, quickly spreading his fame and virtue.
