KVKK Disclosure Notice

Information required under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK — Turkish Data Protection Law). The Turkish version is authoritative; this translation is provided for convenience.

2. Personal Data Processed

  • Language preference and faith filter selections.
  • QR-scan history and gamification (badge) progress stored in your browser.
  • Cookie consent choices.
  • Anonymous technical data (browser type, screen size) — no IP stored.

3. Purposes of Processing

  • Personalising content shown to you (language, faith, kids-mode).
  • Maintaining gamification state across sessions.
  • Honouring cookie consent and legal obligations.
  • Producing anonymised, aggregate usage statistics.

4. Recipients of Data

  • Email OTP, session, profile, local progress, and cookie preference data are processed.
  • Chat messages are transferred to OpenRouter or upstream model providers only after explicit consent.
  • The SMTP provider may act as a processor for email OTP and notification delivery.
  • Low-volume objections, restrictions, and additional KVKK/GDPR requests are received via the privacy email address.

5. Retention Period

Personal data stored in your browser persists until you clear your browser storage or request deletion. Once server-side authentication is introduced, data will be retained only as long as necessary for the purposes listed above, and no longer than the period required by Turkish law.
